To die for ribs, not for the faint of heart, eat enough ribs and sausage and you will feel it, nice kick to the que here. Extremely greasy but extremely fantastically great. I grew up in Austin and you cannot beat Sams. I hear they do good mutton ribs (which are somewhat of a rarity in BBQ joints nowadays), will have to try when I get back in Austin. I've talked to people that have had BBQ all over the U.S. and said sams was the best, so in short it is really good BBQ worth trying when in the area.
Dons is (was?) a good BBQ joint as well. I grew up in the neighborhood right behind it and it was something that I often remember eating.
